One of the main attractions of course is ALTON TOWERS RESORT, but there are so many things to see and do that a day is not enough. We are ideally situated for The Pottery Museum, Wedgewood, Portmeririon, Moorcroft, Aynsley, and Churchill factory shops. At Gladstone Pottery Museum it is possible to make your own pot. Also the award winning gardens of the Trentham Estate with the Monkey Forest and shopping village. We are also within easy reach of Matlock Bath with the Hot Thermal Springs and Bakewell - famous for it's Bakewell Pudding.

Coming to Staffordshire Hall 2nd - 24th July 2011
We have many National Trust Homes i.e. Sudbury Hall, Keddleston, Calke Abbey, Shugborough Hall and the wonderful gardens of Biddulph Grange. Also very popular are Uttoxeter races. The Churnet Valley Railway, Foxfield Railway, Froghall Wharf boat trips. Blackbrook zoo, Carsington Water activities and Festival Park Ski Slope and Waterworld. The brewing experience at The National Brewery Centre is worth a visit too.
We are near the Peak National Park - Dovedale has some of the best scenery in the country with the river Dove flowing through Milldale, Wolfscotdale, and Beresford Dale. For the energetic you can hire cycles from Peak Cycle Hire for Tissington and Highpeak trails. For the Manifold trail - Brown End Farm Cycle Hire. Peakpursuits offer lots of fun and adventure too. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are definitely 'a must see'.
We are ideally situated for walking, cycling and riding in the beautiful Churnet Valley, Peak district and Staffordshire Moorlands Walks. We are on the Sabrina Way - long distance Bridleway, therefore we have stabling and grazing available. Also Golf at Whiston Hall. There is so much to see and do - for further information www.enjoystaffordshire.com has an abundance of ideas.
