Most of my guests visit Alton Towers Resort or Drayton Manor Theme Park. A Thrill Hopper ticket enables you to visit these two venues together with Tamworth Snowdome and Water World. If these do not appeal to you, Fields Farm is ideal for walking, biking and horse riding. We have stabling and grazing for your own horse, and we have a lock up garage for bikes.

We are set in the picturesque Staffordshire Moorlands near Alton Towers Resort. Our guest house is surrounded by the beautiful woodlands of Dimmingsdale, which used to belong to the Earl of Shrewsbury and is filled with paths and tracks through the stunning Churnet Valley.

There are many attractions - too many to see in a week, including Uttoxeter race course, The Potteries, Stately Homes, cycle hire for the Manifold trail. Steam Railways, the Monkey Forest and Carsington water activities. We are also near to the Peak National Park with Dovedale having some of the best scenery in the country. The Leisure Centre with gym and swimming pool is 1.5 miles from Fields Farm.

There are a number of excellent pubs and restaurants around Threapwood serving English, Indian and Chinese Food - many doing take-away and will deliver. Alternatively you may wish to eat, by arrangement, at the farmhouse where I serve traditional English fare using locally sourced produce, homegrown vegetables and homemade preserves and chutney, I do not have a drinks license but you are welcome to bring you own.

If you wish to enjoy the evening outside, the BBQ patio and party house offers the perfect setting. All kitchen utensils are provided together with microwave, and BBQ. Also an excellent venue for Take-aways.

You my just wish to chill out and relax in my lovely garden and enjoy the scenery. What ever you choose, you can be assured of a perfect holiday.
